Raat Gayi Baat Gayi is the story of one night where the protagonist gets himself lured by a stranger. It is a journey through a wild-wacky-wicked fun. Rahul (Rajat Kapoor) wakes up after a heavy hangover of the last night’s late night party. The protagonist strives to recollect what happened during the previous night but not with much success. He could only remember his outrageous flirting with a stranger Sophia (Neha Dhupia) and then find his way along with the lady into a lonely room. Despite trying hard to recollect, he could not find out the extent to which his relation progressed with the stranger. To add to his worries, his wife Mitali (Iravati Harshe) leaves the house and goes away. As the last resort, he along with his neighborhood friend Amit (Vinay Pathak) goes on to meet Saxena(Dilip Tahil) who had arranged the party.

Insulted and demoted, Harpreet then hits upon an idea to start his own parallel business naming his firm Rocket Sales. He gradually ropes in all the key staff members of his own office making them equal profit partners and soon becomes a big business threat to AYS. The rapidly sliding company’s sliding sales figures rattle Puri. What happens to Harpreet and his Rocket Sales team after Puri tries to find who his major competitor is, forms the rest of the film.

Just then Dharam takes a detour to Goa en route his travel to Lusoto. With his sudden arrival, Veer and Prem don’t get time to cover up their lies and Dharam mistakes Jhanvi to be Veer’s wife and Vidya to be Prem’s girlfriend. What chaotic situations it all leads to with multiple characters dropping in to make their problems more complicated forms the rest of the film.

Balki has also cast Abhishek, as Amol, Auro's father. But happily, Paa is much more than this gimmicky role reversal. It's tender and moving, and equally, clumsy and melodramatic, especially in the second half but Paa is worth a trip to the theatre.
